Flushing, NY- The City University of New York partnered with the US Army, has named Senior Elston Alexis Male Performer of the Year. This award was voted on by the coaches in the conference. Elston was very happy upon hearing the news. "I am grateful of the award and this is a symbol that hard work pays off. No reward is earned without labor".

Here are the All-Stars from Medgar Evers College. The Rookie of the Year was Shaquille Hodge of York College, Coach of the Year was Hugh Reid of CCNY and the Sportsmanship Award was given to Garnet Vanterpool of CCNY.

*Only 1st and 2nd place winners are named to the All-Stars list. An additional All-Star is someone who finished outside the top 2 in their respective events.

Elston Alexis- 1^st in Shot Put, 1^st in Discus, and 1^st in Javelin
 
Leston Alexis- 2^nd in Shot Put, 4^th in Discus, and  4^th in Javelin
 
Jomo Bullen- 2^nd in High Jump, part of the 4^th place team in the 4 x 400m Relay, and part of the 2^nd place team in the 4 x 200m Relay.

Kadeem Campbell- Named MVP of CUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship, 4^th in Shot Put, 2^nd in Triple Jump, 1^st in High Jump, part of the 4^th place team in the 4 x 400m Relay, part of the 2^nd place team in the 4 x 200m Relay, and 2^nd in  Javelin.
 
Wendal Davis- part of the 4^th place team in the 4 x 400m Relay, part of the 2^nd place team in the 4 x 200m Relay, and 1^st in 400m Hurdles.
 
Junior Kennedy- part of the 4^th place team in the 4 x 400m Relay, part of the 2^nd place team in the 4 x 200m Relay, 1^st in 110m Hurdles, and 3^rd in 400m Hurdles.
 
Mark Lord- 2^nd in 10,000m Run
 

On the Women Side, Sophomore Samantha Brathwaite was named to the All-Stars list. Samantha finished 1st in Women's High Jump. The Performer of the Year was Tobi Alli of Lehman College, Rookie of the Year was Leandra Haynes of CCNY, Coach of the Year was
Pete Charles of Lehman College, and the Sportsmanship Award was given to Stephanie Ravello of CCNY
